Due to the presence of these substances, many of these environments are classified as explosion hazardous. Strict safety regulations apply within these zones, and materials must be suitable for safe use without creating an ignition risk, for example through static electricity.<\/p>\n<p>PolyesPro\u00ae has been tested by an independent Dutch laboratory and found suitable for application in ATEX environments, such as the petrochemical industry, oil and gas extraction, wastewater treatment facilities, the raw materials industry, and tank terminals.<\/p>\n<p>The surface resistance of the material complies with the limit values specified in IEC 60079-0:2017.
