Explosion Hazardous areas in industrial environments are challenging when it comes to visualizing these areas. What information is needed where, where are the area limits, and where would markings be desirable? And how do you guarantee that the area markings match the entire safety signage system? EX-areas can help!
Blomsma Signs & Safety has eliminated this by an on-site survey, and the engineering of a sign plan. The plan clearly displays where the signs and markings are positioned. The explosion hazardous area document and plots are the basis for the plan, which shows all the different areas.
AkzoNobel Industrial Chemicals Rotterdam contracted Blomsma to realize the plan. The plan includes the installation of safety area signs, painting lines on the floor and installing bollards fitted with chain. All markings are based on current standards regarding symbol and color. The use of durable materials ensures the longevity of the investment.
Under the guidance of our specialized project engineer, our installation team will handle the installation, compliant with the AkzoNobel safety procedures
