The tank terminal in Hamburg with 149 tanks and a capacity of 670,528 cbm has recently been given a new name and logo. Blomsma Signs & Safety Germany was responsible for the re-branding of the former Vopak Dupeg tank terminals to Evos Terminal Hamburg.
The re-branding included the removal and conversion of logos and corporate identity elements on signs, vehicles, equipment and even on storage tanks. A detailed scope has been compiled from an inventory made by Evos and a quick scan from our engineer. This scope has been completed pragmatically and, among other things, we advised at where other signs are needed. For example, various signs have also been removed, or safety multiple signs with a logo have been completely replaced with new signs with the safety symbols in accordance with ISO 7010. Blomsma Signs & Safety GmbH has also provided a new illuminated sign on the facade of the office building. The new Evos tank logos now adorn the skyline of the port of Hamburg.
Our role within the project was detailed engineering, the preparation of layouts, the production of the signage, assembly on location, removal of old signage and advice with regard to projection, visibility, distinctiveness and, where necessary, legislation regarding the overlap with safety signage.
From our location in Oldenburg, the project was realized in a safe manner and without any accidents. The collaboration with the people from Evos Hamburg led to an efficient and qualitative implementation.
