Waternet extends contract safety signs Blomsma

Waternet renewed the contract for safety signs at its Drinking water production locations in the Netherlands. Within the contract, Blomsma Signs & Safety will continue with the installation of the pipe markers and tank markings – which include relevant CLP / GHS symbols – and the maintenance of existing safety signs as stated in the EU 92-58 and the Dutch Working Conditions Decree Chapter 8.

After a two-year program for the implementation of pipe marking on the drinking water production plants the remaining locations will be provided with markings. During assembly, maintenance shall take place to present safety signs, according to our Total Project Service (TPS) concept.

Sign plan drawings where manufactured in the first stage of the TPS method, which have served as evaluation and installation drawings. After completion of the installation, these drawings are linked to the maintenance of the sites. By executing these periodic surveys – also during projects – Blomsma Signs & Safety can secure the conservation of a present Safety Signage system.

Waternet is the water company for Amsterdam and the surroundings. We supply you with tap water and take care of the discharge of waste water. We also make sure you keep your feet dry by maintaining the water level and keeping the surface water clean.
