Blomsma Signs & Safety will provide all safety signs for the RAVN oil production platform from operator Wintershall Noordzee BV. The safety signage is executed in the same uniform manner as the previously realized construction projects (Wingate, E18a, L5C and L6B). The principles for implementation are law and legislations, Wintershall company standards and best practices.
The scope includes the engineering of a signplan, produce and install of all relevant safety signs such as escape route markings, fire equipment and rescue signage. We will also provide and install all the markings on pipes according to their medium with appropriate color, hazard identification with GHS symbols and flow direction arrows. At all stairs, on the lower and upper step, an anti-slip stepcover is applied. On these panels the text “use handrail” is listed.
The RAVN platform will be placed in the Danish sector of the North Sea, and has a production capacity of 4,500 barrels per day. The southern North Sea is one of Wintershall’s traditional core regions for producing natural gas and crude oil.
