Blomsma pipe marking for InfraServ Wiesbaden

InfraServ Wiesbaden has awarded Blomsma Signs & Safety GmbH the order for pipe marking at the Kalle-Albert industrial zone wastewater purification plant.

InfraServ Wiesbaden has been handling the operations at the 96-hectare Kalle-Albert industrial site since 1997. InfraServ provides an extensive infrastructure for the companies that work in the industrial zone, as well as many other services that can be essential if they are to remain competitive. The core processes that InfraServ manages are supplying energy and disposing of wastewater.

The water treatment plant will be marked with PolyesPro® pipe markings by Blomsma. The project comprises engineering, production and application of the markings. The latest and most up-to-date norms and regulations are applied for this project, such as EU92/58, TRGS 201, ASR A1-3 and DIN2403.

The pipe marking project will help the plant to operate safely and efficiently. The markings will provide information about the medium, direction of flow and any hazards presented by the substances in the pipes using GHS hazard pictograms plus any symbols required as per ISO-7010.

PolyesPro® pipe marking is composed entirely of 3M™ products with functional lifespans of at least 15 years. A unique feature of this product is the halogen-free fluid adhesive layer, 130 microns thick. The specially-developed adhesive layer guarantees the bonding and ensures a full-contact adhesive bond between the markings and the pipes.
