Pipeline marking project – Blomsma Signs & Safety has started the health and safety signage project for Linde Gas Benelux. The project’s emphasis is on bringing the pipeline markings in the production plants up to date. The project was started with a pilot at the Linde Gas location on the Tata Steel site in IJmuiden. The aim of the pilot was to provide Linde Gas with a picture of how such a project could be realised and what the final result would be.
Our PolyesPro® line of pipe markings will be used at Linde Gas. This is a unique product that was developed jointly by Blomsma Signs & Safety and 3M™. PolyesPro® pipeline markings feature a polyester sandwich of 3M™ materials with 3M™ MCS™ product warranties. The expected lifespan is more than fifteen years for both the colourfastness and the adhesion.
A team of 3M™ Certified Sign Installers™ will be realising the entire project, supervised by a designated project engineer. Old pipeline markings will be removed when the new ones are applied. This will create an entirely new signage system.
The project focuses on creating a pragmatic implementation that complies with legislation and regulations and, of course, a project in which safety is our top priority. This applies not only to the intended results, but also during realisation of the project.
