Safety signage partner -The Heerema Fabrication Group has awarded Blomsma the order for the safety signage and platform identification signs for the “Statoil Oseberg Vestflanken 2 wellhead” platform.
Blomsma Signs & Safety will be handling the engineering, production and on-site installation for the safety signage, the pipe marking and the platform identification signs.
Blomsma has already realised numerous projects for Heerema, including work for the recent Statoil projects. Relevant technical standards at Statoil TR’s (Technical Requirements) and NORSOK regulations will be applied for the realisation of the safety signage and pipe markings.
The Best Practice recommendation that Blomsma received from the HAI (Helicopter Association International) for our innovative platform ID signs will also be used on Oseberg Vestflanken 2. The colours, reflectance and finishing of the 3M foils provide better visibility for both helicopters and shipping.
