Gate LNG contracted Blomsma Signs & Safety to update the Pipe Marking for the entire terminal. The objective of the project is to achieve a sustainable signage system which informs employees correctly and clearly.
Additional requirements are a suitable implementation fit to the environment. By applying larger Pipe markers at i.a. pipe lanes, the readability is increased, and less markers are required.
A quick scan on location determined the size of the project, the amount of pipe markers and the time required to realize the project. Our Split-Run Strategy ensures the progress and speed at which the project is realized. Examples are simultaneously ongoing work at different sections. But also planning weather dependent work with weather independent work. A fully trained 3M™ and SSC certified Blomsma team will realize the project.
A sustainable solution has been chosen for the realization of the Pipe Marking on the Gate LNG Terminal. The terminal is situated close to the North Sea and subjected to the salty sea climate. Markings need to withstand against these influences. Blomsma Signs & Safety proposed to use our PolyesPro® Pipe Marking. This product has been developed together with 3M™, and consists exclusively of 3M™ Scotchcall™ products.
Colorfast pipe markers with guaranteed adhesion secures the both financial and safety investment of Gate LNG.
