Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) in Europoort Rotterdam awarded Blomsma Signs & Safety the contract for the deployment of a sign plan consisting of health and safety signage and pipe identification marking for their new CHP plant. The prefabricated sign plan has been the basis for the final scope determination of all required safety signs. A full uniform style in design and dimensions in relation to the viewing distance is insured by the detailed sign drawings. The complete sign plan is engineered and drafted subsequent to the provision and evaluation of all relevant construction drawings and plot plans and a survey on location.
“The challenge is to interpret the provided plans and drawings properly. For example, the escape routes and future risks as construction of the plant is completed, and a correct translation into adequate safety signage”, said Ronald van der Aar, the assigned project engineer. “At Blomsma we are pleased with the confidence that ADM has in us by awarding this contract and we will strive to deliver a high-quality content and complete result.”
