Blomsma provides pipe marking for HelWin bèta platform

Pipe marking for HelWin bèta – Blomsma Signs & Safety has received the order for the pipe markers for the HelWin bèta platform topsides. The full- service scope includes the project management, engineering, production and installation of the pipe markings. The implementation is based on current laws and regulations, including GHS hazard symbols.

The execution will take place at the Heerema Fabrication Group yard in Zwijndrecht and possibly offshore for various hook-up activities.

The HelWin bèta topsides measures 98 meter in length, 42 meter in width and 28 meter in height with a transmission capacity of 690 MW and is the largest offshore wind platform built by HFG. The HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) platform weighs 10,200 tons.
