Blomsma Signs & Safety has been commissioned by the Vechtstromen Water Authority to implement a structured safety and health signage system on the Hengelo site. This follows a thorough inventory that took place in June 2021.
Safety signs play a crucial role in influencing behaviour. Symbols represent risks in a dynamic working environment. Symbols give instructions for the use of personal protective equipment that are uniformly recognisable. Safety signage goes even further, identifying entire processes of complex installation and potential hazards. When projected and designed correctly, safety signs are a communication system.
The project’s objective is to realize the necessary safety and health signs required by current legislation and regulations, and contribute to the safety of employees, visitors, contractors, the environment and emergency services.
The scope of the project includes the realisation of the following items;
In a second phase, 3D ATEX signs and pipe marking will also be applied, as we were previously able to supply to the Emmen location of Vechtstromen Water Authority a few years ago.
Blomsma Signs & Safety will take care of the reconstruction and optimisation of the safety signage for the Hengelo location of Waterschap Vechtstromen. For this project, we advise, engineer and realise operations and maintenance in close cooperation with the safety department. The framework from which we operate is legislation and regulations, in which all recent changes and developments are applied.
